Preparing for your Eyelash appointment:

​

• DO shower prior to your appointment 

• DO wear comfortable and warm clothing. 

• DO arrive 5 mins earlier to allow time to complete consultation form.

• DO arrive with a clean makeup free face as this will create a secure bond for extensions and allow the solution for a lash lift to penetrate effectively. 

• DO NOT curl your lashes. Natural state is best. 

• If you require a lash tint we recommend having it done 24-48hrs prior to your extension appointment.

• DO remove your contacts to be comfortable so you can rest with ease. 

• DO turn off your mobile phone to avoid any interruptions to your treatment.

• DO NOT wear eye makeup to your appointment as removing makeup will eat into your appointment time.

• DO avoid having caffeinated beverages.

 

Eyelash Extension Aftercare

• The first 24-48hrs are crucial to the Lash extension bonding procedure No water should encounter your eyelashes. 

• For 48hrs after treatment do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim, or wash your face with hot water. 

• Be gentle! DO not rub or pull on your eyelash extensions.

• Keep your eyelash extensions dry for 24hrs.

• Do not use eyelash curlers or perm the lashes.

• If you wear eye make-up, a powder-based eye shadow is best. Keep it Oil- free! 

• Emollients, creams, and oils are the eyelash bonding agent’s worst enemy. Use eye creams sparingly and avoid lid/lash area.

• We recommend a lash cleanser if you use make up.  However, be aware that using an eyelash cleanser daily will weaken the adhesive and you won’t get lasting results. We recommend limiting your makeup usage for effective results. 

• If you must wear eye makeup daily , we recommend an eyelash infill weekly.

• Avoid facial treatment during lash extensions as your lashes will not last as expected.

• If you are using eyelash growth serums, use it after 48hrs.

• We recommend regular infills every 2-3 weeks for best results. 

• 2week infills are between 7-14 days. 

• 3 week infills are between 15-21 days.

• Lash infills are a minimum of 30% to 75% extensions remaining otherwise a new set is recommended.

CAN I SHOWER AND SWIM WHILE WEARING EYELASH EXTENSIONS?

You should avoid direct contact with water for the first 24 hours around the eye area. After that time they will be fine in water as the bonding agent is waterproof. If possible avoid direct contact with the jets of the shower on the extensions and wear goggles when swimming.

 

CAN I STILL WEAR MAKEUP?

Yes. You can continue to wear make-up when you wear semi permanent lash extensions but it is important to use an oil-free make-up remover, as oil will damage the bonding agent. You will find you no longer need to use mascara, but you can use it on the tips of the lashes if you desire, but waterproof mascara is not recommended. 

 

HOW LONG WILL SEMI PERMANENT LASHES LAST?

It is normal to lose a few individual false eyelashes in the first 24 hours whilst the adhesive is setting, and care should be taken during this period. Your own lashes shed naturally and new ones continue to grow in a replenishing cycle. We naturally shed 2 – 4 lashes from each eye in a day so the lash extensions will last as long as the cycle of your natural lash. Touch ups are recommended every 3 – 4 weeks depending on your individual needs (you must still have over 30% of your eyelashes remaining for it to be counted as a touch up). Your after care will affect how long your extensions last.
